RESUMEN

The species within the family Cunninghamellaceae are widely distributed and produce important metabolites. Morphological studies along with a molecular phylogeny based on the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) and large subunit (LSU) of ribosomal DNA revealed two new species in this family from soils in China, that is, Absidia ovalispora sp. nov. andCunninghamella globospora sp. nov. The former is phylogenetically closely related to Absidia koreana, but morphologically differs in sporangiospores, sporangia, sporangiophores, columellae, collars, and rhizoids. The latter is phylogenetically closely related to Cunninghamella intermedia, but morphologically differs in sporangiola and colonies. They were described and illustrated.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence of allergic rhinitis (AR) in 3 central cities (Chifeng, Hohhot, Ordos) and the surrounding rural areas of Inner Mongolia region, and to look for possible risk factors related to the disease. Methods: From March to October of 2019, a multi-stage stratified random sampling epidemiological survey was conducted in Chifeng, Hohhot, Ordos and rural areas. The AR-related factors of the population were obtained in the form of face-to-face questionnaire survey, and the skin prick test (SPT) was taken for the participants. AR disease was diagnosed according to the "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis (2015, Tianjin)". The daily airborne pollen situation in the three regions was monitored during the same period. SPSS 23.0 was used to analyze all survey results. Results: A total of 6 818 questionnaires were recovered, with 6 393 valid questionnaires. The self-reported prevalence of AR was 27.72% (1 772/6 393) and the confirmed prevalence of AR was 17.10% (1 093/6 393). The prevalence of perennial AR was 1.83% (117/6 393) while the prevalence of seasonal AR was 15.27% (976/6 393). The prevalence of AR diagnosed in females was higher than that in males (19.19% vs 15.34%, χ²=16.594, P<0.001) and the prevalence of females in the two age groups of 36-45 years and 46-55 years was significantly higher than that of males (18.17% vs 9.73%, 14.13% vs 7.25%, χ2 value was 23.848, 18.772, respectively, all P<0.001). The prevalence of confirmed diagnoses in ethnic minorities was higher than that of Han nationality, and the prevalence of confirmed diagnoses in urban areas was higher than that in rural areas (23.13% vs 16.20%, 27.27% vs 9.71%, χ2 value was 24.516, 336.024, respectively, all P<0.001). The main nasal symptoms of AR patients were sneezing (91.31%), nasal congestion (85.91%) and nasal itching (85.00%). The most common concomitant disease of AR was allergic conjunctivitis (73.99%). Asthma (OR=6.629), food allergy (OR=3.236), drug allergy (OR=1.786), application of antibiotics (OR=1.553), recent home decoration (OR=2.307), and smoking (OR=1.322) were the AR related risk factors. The highest proportion of SPT positive reactions was Artemisia annua (80.15%). The peak period of clinical symptoms of AR patients in Inner Mongolia region was July to September, which was consistent with the second peak period of airborne pollen monitoring. Conclusions: The prevalence of AR in central cities and the surrounding rural areas of Inner Mongolia region is 17.10%, and Artemisia species is the most important pollen allergen in this area. History of asthma, food allergy, drug allergy, antibiotic use, home decoration and smoking history are the related risk factors for AR.

OBJECTIVE@#To evaluate the classification criteria of early rheumatoid arthritis (ERA) and compare the sensitivity and specificity with the criteria of 1987 American College of Rheumatology (ACR) criteria and 2010 ACR/European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR).@*METHODS@#Patients from 4 hospitals, aged more than 16 years, with arthritis, whose disease duration was ≤1 year, and with ≥1 joint pain and swelling were enrolled in the study. The indicators including clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging examinations were observed. The ERA patients were dignosed by two experienced rheumatologists based on the clinical features, drug therapy information and radiography features.@*RESULTS@#(1) A total of 325 patients with arthritis were enrolled, including 98 males (30.15%) and 227 females (69.85%), The average age was (47.53±14.44) years, and the median disease duration was 5 (2, 8) months. Finally, 236 patients were dignosed with ERA, and 89 patients were dignosed with other diseases (Non-ERA, including osteoarthritis, reactive arthritis, undifferentiated arthritis, spondyloarthritis, etc). (2) The sensitivity of ERA criteria was 87.29%, and the specificity was 84.37%. The sensitivity was higher than that of 1987 ACR criteria (χ2=43.641, P < 0.001), and had no significant difference compared with 2010 ACR/EULAR criteria (χ2=0.446, P=0.593). But the specificity of ERA criteria was lower than that of 1987 ACR criteria (χ2=4.891, P=0.027), which was not statistically significant compared with 2010 ACR/EULAR criteria (χ2=0.044, P=1.000). (3) In the patients with arthritis whose disease duration was ≤3 months and ≤6 months, the sensitivity of ERA criteria was 81.71% and 86.79%, respectively, both were higher than the 1987 ACR criteria (χ2=7.131, P=0.008; χ2=22.015, P < 0.001) and had no statistically difference compared with the 2010 ACR/EULAR criteria (χ2=0.220, P=0.755; χ2=0.473, P=0.491). The differences of the three criteria in specificity were not statistically significant. (4) The three different classification criteria were consistent with the clinical diagnosis, among which the ERA criteria and 2010 ACR/EULAR criteria were slightly higher (Kappa>0.6). The results of the consistency comparison between the three criteria showed that the ERA criteria and 2010 ACR/EULAR criteria had a better consistency (Kappa=0.836).@*CONCLUSION@#The sensitivity of ERA classification criteria in the diagnosis of ERA was higher than that of 1987 ACR criteria, and was equivalent to that of 2010 ACR/EULAR criteria. There is no significant difference in specificity between these three criteria. The ERA criteria can also identify patients with RA at a very early stage in arthritis with disease duration ≤3 months.

Objective To investigate the value of color image scoring with shear wave elastography in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast solid lesions.Methods From February 2016 to February 2017 , 125 patients with breast lesions were given shear wave elastography score, by type of image scoring method, image color method for differential diagnosis between benign and malignant lesions. Results Among all the 125 patients with breast solid lesions, 175 were solid lesions, of which 85 cases (119) were benign lesions, accounting for 68%, and 40 (56) were malignant lesions, accounting for 32%. The difference of type and color score between benign breast lesions and malignant lesions was statistically significant (P<0.05) . A positive correlation was fourd between color image type score and color score of benign and malignant breast lesion,using shear wave elastography (P<0.05) . The pathological findings were used as a gold standard, and the difference in the area under ROC curves of benign and malignant lesions of the breast was statistically significant by using type and color scoring method (P<0.05) . Type scoring method and color scoring method have higher diagnostic efficacy when the diagnostic value is above 2 points. Conclusion The shear wave elastography color image scoring method is of high clinical value in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast solid lesions, and it is of high accuracy for the diagnosis of benign breast solid lesions.

The aim of this study was to investigate the expression of macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MMIF),hypoxia-inducible factor-1 α (HIF-1 αt) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in the serum and endometrial tissues of patients with endometriosis (EM) and the clinical significance.Eighty EM patients [American Reproductive Association stage I (n=20),stage Ⅱ (n=22),stage Ⅲ (n=21) and stage Ⅳ (n=17)] were enrolled and divided into mild (10-14 points,n=28),moderate (16-24 points,n=27) and severe (26-30 points,n=25) dysmenorrhea groups.The control group included 40 healthy women of childbearing age who underwent routine healthcare examinations in the enrolment period.The expression of MMIF,HIF-1α and VEGF in the serum and endometrial tissues was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and Western blotting,respectively.Meanwhile,the sensitivity and specificity of serum MMIF,HIF-1α,and VEGF when separately used as single indexes or jointly used as one index were examined as well.The results showed that serum concentrations of MMIF,HIF-1α,and VEGF were significantly higher in EM patients than in controls (P<0.05).The expression of all three proteins in both serum and endometrial tissues increased significantly with the R-AFS stage (P<0.05) and with dysmenorrheal severity (P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of the combined detection of serum MMIF,HIF-1α,and VEGF levels were significantly higher than those of single index detection (P<0.05).In conclusion,the expression of MMIF,HIF-1α,and VEGF in the serum and endometrial tissues may be used to assess the stage of EM and the severity of dysmenorrhea.Combined evaluation of MMIF,HIF-1α,and VEGF significantly improves the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity.

Methods Using a parallel plate flow chamber system and mouse anti-human CD62P: FITC as the indicator of P-selectin expression, the alteration of platelet P-selectin expression level with increasing exposure time under different FSS conditions (0, 1, 2 Pa) specifically mediated by VWF-A1A2A3 was observed and analyzed by fluorescence microscope to obtain the activation characteristics. Results FSS triggered platelet activation and P-selectin expression. The activation ratio of platelet was positively regulated by FSS and their exposure time, reaching the maximum value, 9.42% and 14.59% under FSS of 1 Pa and 2 Pa, respectively. The level of P-selectin expression exhibited two-phase tendency with the shear stress-exposure time increasing, uplifted at first, then decreased, with the best action time at 7.5 min. The fluorescence peak intensity increased when FSS was enhanced. Conclusions The level of platelet P-selectin expression is co-regulated by VWF-A1A2A3 and FSS, and is closely related to force-signaling exposure time.

RESUMEN

Ten compounds were isolated from Mylabris phalerata by using preparative HPLC and column chromatography over MCI gel. On the basis of physical-chemical properties, NMR and MS data analysis, the compounds were identified as 5'-[(1 R,2 R,3 S,6R)-1-hydroxymethyl-2-methyl-3,6-epoxycyclohexane-1,2-dicarboximide]- ethyl-2'-methyl-2'-butenoate (1),cantharidin (2), cyclo-(L-Pro-L-Ala) (3), cyclo-(R-Pro-R-Leu) (4), cyclo-(S-Pro-R-Leu) (5), cyclo-(D-Pro-L-Tyr) (6), indole-3-aldehyde (7), 3-indoleacetic acid (8), valerolactam (9), and 4-hydroxyphthalid (10).Compound 1 was a new compound, and compounds 2-10 were obtained from this genus for the first time. Compounds 1-9 were subjected to cytotoxic activity on HCT-116, HepG2, BGC-823, NCI-H1650, A2780 cell lines, and only compound 2 showed inhibitory effect on all cancer cell lines.

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate the anti-cancer effects of crude extract from Melia toosendan Sieb. et Zucc and its possible molecular mechanisms in vitro and in vivo.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Transonic alcohol-chloroform extraction method was used to extract toosendanin from the bark of Melia toosendan Sieb. et Zucc, and the content of toosendanin in the crude extract was measured by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Anti-cancer effects of crude extract from Melia toosendan Sieb. et Zucc were investigated in in vivo and in vitro studies. In the in vitro experiment, human hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines SMMC-7721 and Hep3B were co-incubated with toosendanin crude extract of different concentrations, respectively. In the in vivo experiment, BALB/c mice were subcutaneously inoculated with mouse hepatocellular carcinoma H22 cells and treated with crude extract.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>HPLC revealed the content of toosendanin was about 15%. Crude extract from Melia toosendan Sieb. et Zucc inhibited cancer cells growth in a dose- and time-dependent manner. The 50% inhibitory concentration (IC50, 72 h) was 0.6 mg/L for SMMC-7721 cells and 0.8 mg/L for Hep3B cells. Both high-dose [0.69 mg/(kg d)] and low-dose [0.138 mg/(kg d)] crude extract could markedly suppress cancer growth, and the inhibition rate was greater than 50%. Hematoxylin and eosin staining showed necrotic area in cancers and transmission electron microscopy displayed necrotic and apoptotic cancer cells with apoptotic bodies. Immunohistochemistry showed that the expression of Bax and Fas increased and the expression of Bcl-2 reduced.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>Toosendanin extract has potent anti-cancer effects via suppressing proliferation and inducing apoptosis of cancer cells in vivo and in vitro. The mechanism of apoptosis involves in mitochondrial pathway and death receptor pathway.</p>

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To construct and evaluate the criteria of injury based on the theoretical model that 'Injury' is the combination of 'Hurt' and 'Harm', in order to provide theoretical basis for scientific and rational research on injury in future epidemiological survey.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>The criteria of epidemiological injury was consected by analyzing documents and consulting experts, then Delphi method was used to evaluate its rationality.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The epidemiological definition for 'Injury'is the combination of 'Hurt' and 'Harm'. 'Hurt' means the wound in clinical medicine, while 'Harm' means the damage from the views of public health. The active coefficients of two rounds Delphi Method were both 100%. The authority coefficients of two rounds were 0.88 and 0.87, respectively. The coordination coefficients were 0.44 and 0.62 (P<0.05), respectively. After two rounds consulting, all scores of rationality for definition of 'Hurt', definition of 'Harm', 'Injury' being the combination of 'hurt' and 'harm', 'Injury' should be graded, Graded based on the 'Injured' time were above 3, and all values of CV for those index were below 0.25 except Graded based on the 'Injured' time.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The rationality of Definition of 'Hurt', Definition of 'Harm', 'Injury' being the combination of 'hurt' and 'harm', 'Injury' should be graded and Graded based on the 'Injured' time is good. There is still a certain degree of divergence about Graded based on the 'Injured' time.</p>

TRPA1 channels are non-selective cation channels that could be activated by plant-derived pungent products, including gingerol, a main active constituent of ginger. Ginger could improve the digestive function; however whether ginger improves the digestive function through activating TRPA1 receptor in gastrointestinal tract has not been investigated. In the present study, gingerol was used to stimulate cell lines (RIN14B or STC-1) while depletion of extracellular calcium. TRPA1 inhibitor (rethenium red) and TRPA1 gene silencing via TRPA1-specific siRNA were also used for mechanistic studies. The intracellular calcium and secretion of serotonin or cholecystokinin were measured by fura-2/AM and ELISA. Stimulation of those cells with gingerol increased intracellular calcium levels and the serotonin or cholecystokinin secretion. The gingerol-induced intracellular calcium increase and secretion (serotonin or cholecystokinin) release were completely blocked by ruthenium red, EGTA, and TRPA1-specific siRNA. In summary, our results suggested that gingerol derived from ginger might improve the digestive function through secretion releasing from endocrine cells of the gut by inducing TRPA1-mediated calcium influx.

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To explore effective pretreated methods for hydrosalpinx before frozen embryo transfer (FET).</p><p><b>METHODS</b>A randomized controlled study was performed on 229 FET cycles of hydrosalpinx patients. They were assigned to two groups by random digit table, Group A (94 cases), Group B (89 cases), and Group C (46 cases). Patients in Group A received transvaginal aspiration of hydrosalpinx combined with auricular point sticking. Those in Group B received transvaginal aspiration of hydrosalpinx group. Those in Group C received no transvaginal aspiration of hydrosalpinx. Pregnancy outcomes of FET, endometrial and subendometrial blood flow distribution on the embryo transfer day were compared among the three groups.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>There was no statistical difference in the endometrial thickness on FET day, the number of transfer embryos, the number of transferred good quality embryos among the three groups (P > 0.05). The clinical pregnancy rate and the embryo implantation rate were significantly higher in Group A than in Group C (P < 0.05), and the clinical pregnancy rate was significantly higher in Group A than in Group B (P < 0.05). The early abortion rate and the transfer cycle cancel rate were significantly lower in Group A than in Group C (P < 0.05). Type A endometrial and subendometrial blood flow distribution was dominant in Group A, which was significantly higher in Group A than the rest two groups (P < 0.05). Type A distribution rate was also significantly higher in Group B than in Group C (P < 0.05).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Transvaginal aspiration of hydrosalpinx combined with auricular point sticking before FET could improve the endometrial receptivity and improve outcomes of IVF.</p>

RESUMEN

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the expression of carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX), PAX2 and PAX8 in different types of renal epithelial tumor and their association with clinicopathologic characteristics.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Immunohistochemical study by EnVision method was performed in order to assess the expression of CAIX, PAX2 and PAX8 in 155 cases of renal cell carcinoma and 4 cases of metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC). Ninety-six cases of non-neoplastic renal parenchymal tissue adjacent to CCRCC, 8 cases of clear cell hepatocellular carcinoma and 2 cases of clear cell hidradenoma were used as controls.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>CAIX was commonly expressed in CCRCC (94.0%, 63/67), of which 77.8% (49/63) showed strong positivity. CAIX was focally positive in papillary renal cell carcinoma, collecting duct carcinoma and urothelial carcinoma of renal pelvis. It was negative in chromophobe renal cell carcinoma, oncocytoma and adjacent non-neoplastic renal tissue. CAIX was also strongly expressed in the 4 cases of metastatic CCRCC. Focal expression of CAIX was demonstrated in the 8 cases of clear cell hepatocellular carcinoma and 2 cases of clear cell hidradenoma. The expression of CAIX in CCRCC did not correlate with tumor grading, clinical staging and presence of distal metastasis. On the other hand, PAX2 showed positive expression in different types of renal epithelial tumor, clear cell hepatocellular carcinoma and clear cell hidradenoma in various degrees. In contrast, PAX8 was commonly expressed in all types of renal epithelial tumor, with the exception of urothelial carcinoma of renal pelvis. PAX8 was not expressed in clear cell hepatocellular carcinoma and clear cell hidradenoma. Regarding diagnosis of CCRCC, CAIX demonstrated high sensitivity and specificity. PAX2 showed high specificity but low sensitivity. PAX8 was sensitive and specific in the diagnosis of renal epithelial tumor.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>CAIX is a useful immunohistochemical marker with high specificity and sensitivity in distinguishing CCRCC from other types of renal epithelial tumor and clear cell tumors of non-renal origin. PAX2 is a marker with high sensitivity and low specificity for diagnosis of renal epithelial tumors. PAX8 is typically expressed in renal epithelial tumors. The combined detection of CAIX, PAX2 and PAX8 is useful in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of renal epithelial tumors.</p>

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate the prevention of diarrhea by oral BIFICO for infants aged 1-6 years.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>490 cases of infants were randomly divided after age stratification: the experimental group (n = 247) and the control group (n = 243). Based on principles of randomized double-blind and placebo-controlled, the infants were given BIFICO (dedicated clinical research)therapy for 4 consecutive days, then observed for 21 days. 25 days composed a cycle. They were observed total 5 cycles. During the study period, principles for "the diarrhoea patients must be detected", follow-up visited the participant infants and conducted etiology detection by way of sampling for diarrhea infants. Evaluate the prevention efficacy of diarrhea by oral BIFICO for infants aged 1-6 years.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>A total of 480 completed all study. 120 and 95 infants in the control group and experimental group were detected with diarrhea. The incidence of diarrhea was 50.85% and 38.93% in these two guoup, respectively. The difference has statistical significance (chi2 = 4.175, P = 0.041). In the third observation period, the infants in the control group had a higer incidence of diarrhea compared with which in the experimental group (chi2 = 4.415, P = 0.036). 14 strains of rotavirus, 3 strains of norovirus, 3 strains of sappovirus, 2 strains of adenovirus, 5 strains of salmonella and 4 strains of Shigella were check out in 128 samples.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Oral BIFICO can paly certain preventive role on diarrhea, and decrease the incidence of diarrhea in infants aged 1-6 years.</p>

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the correlation between the expression of Fcgamma receptor II b (FcgammaRII b) on B cells and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients of Shen deficiency syndrome (SDS).</p><p><b>METHODS</b>There were 43 RA patients, including 26 of SDS and 17 of non-SDS. The expression levels of FcgammaRII b on naive B cells, memory B cells, and plasma blasts in the peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometry. The numbers of tender joints, numbers of swollen joints, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), rheumatoid factor (RF), and disease activity score (DAS28), the correlation between the distribution of B cells and the expression level of FcgammaRII b in RA patients were analyzed. Besides, another 21 healthy volunteers were recruited as the control group.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The expression level of FcgammaRII b was 49.65% +/- 15.86% on memory B cells and 43.69% +/- 22.57% on plasma blasts in RA patients of SDS, significantly down-regulated when compared with those of the control group (64.03% +/- 6.01%, 66.59% +/- 10.18%, P < 0.01). The expression level of FcgammaRII b on memory B cells of RA patients of non-SDS was down-regulated more obviously when compared with that of the control group (52.70% +/- 9.52% versus 64.03% +/- 6.01%, P < 0.01). The expression level of FcgammaRII b on plasma blasts was obviously lower in RA patients of SDS than in RA patients of non-SDS (56.10% +/- 17.05%, P < 0.05). The expression level of FcgammaRII b on memory B cells was not correlated with numbers of tender joints, numbers of swollen joints, ESR, RF, or DAS28.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>The defective immunological tolerance of B cells in RA patients of SDS might be closely correlated with down-regulation of FcgammaRII b on memory B cells and plasma blasts. There might exist genetic abnormality of FcgammaRII b gene in RA patients of SDS, thus inducing loss of autoimmunity tolerance.</p>

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate the correlation between auto-immune antibodies and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients of Shen deficiency syndrome (SDS), thus providing clinical evidence for further researches on molecular biological mechanisms of RA patients of SDS.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Totally 451 RA patients were assigned to the SDS group and the non-SDS group. Their general conditions (including gender, age, duration, and age of onset), C reactive protein (CRP), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), platelet (PLT), disease activities (DAS28), auto-antibodies [rheumatoid factor (RF), anti-CCP antibodies, anti-nuclear antibody (ANA)] were compared between the two groups.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>(1) The scores for EST, PLT, and DAS28 were obviously higher in the SDS group than in the non-SDS group (P < 0.05, P <0. 01). (2) The level of average RF was (697.32 +/-1 061.38 IU/mL) in the SDS group, higher than that in the non-SDS group (439.91 +/- 672.24 IU/mL, P <0.01). There was no statistical difference in anti-CCP antibody between the two groups (P >0.05).(3) The ANA positive rate of RA patients was 29. 63% (120/405). It was 37.19% (74/199) in RA patients of SDS and 22. 33% (46/206) in RA patients of non-SDS, showing statistical difference between the two groups (P <0.01). (4) The odds ratio for high level RF positive and ANA positive was 1. 574 and 2. 059 folds in RA patients of SDS as high as that in RA patients of non-SDS.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>RA patients of SDS would have higher risk of having auto-immune antibodies, fastened development, more worsen joint damage, and more poor prognosis. Its mechanisms might be closely associated with autoimmune tolerance.</p>

Background Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide existing in extracellular matrix and having good biocompatibility.Using chemical crosslinking method can improve the physical properties of the material,so cross-linked hyaluronic has potential clinical application value.Objective The present study was to evaluate the histocompatibility and biological security of cross-linked hyaluronic acid as ophthalmic implant material.Methods Cross-linked hyaluronic acid implant material was prepared according to the criteria of Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices (GB/T16886.5-2003).Eighteen 8-week-old male New Zealand white rabbits were randomized into the experimental group and the control group.Cross-linked hyaluronic acid material with 5.0 mm diameter was implanted into corneal stroma interlaminationally in the experimental group,and only corneal stromal interlaminational pocket was made without any implanting material in the control group.Biological response of cornea was assessed in vivo from 1 week through 3 months after operation by slit lamp microscope.The corneas were obtained 2 weeks,1 month and 3 months respectively for histopathological examination.Mouse embryonic fibroblasts were cultured in cross-linked hyaluronic acid film plate,medical silicone material culture plate and regular culture plate respectively for 24 hours,and the cell growth state and morphology were observed under the inverted microscope and scan electron microscope.MTT assay was used to test the relative growth rate of the cultured cells 48 hours after cultured using extracted liquid of hyaluronic acid implant material.Results Cross-linked hyaluronic acid implant material showed a well healing to the corneas of rabbits during the observation duration,without obvious inflammatory response and neovascularization.The arrangement of stromal fibers was uniform in order,and no infiltration of inflammatory cells was seen under the light microscope.The cells grew well after cultured with cross-linked hyaluronic acid film and regular medium for 24 hours,but in the silicone culture group,fewer of adherent cells and more floating cells were found.The relative growth rate of the cells was 87.50% 48 hours after cultured with extracted liquid of hyaluronic acid implant material.Conclusions The cross-linked hyaluronic acid material has good histocompatibility and biological security in rabbit cornea tissue.
